Welcome to the European Law Students' Association - ELSA Maastricht

ELSA is the world's largest independent law students' association. It comprises a membership close to 30.000 students and recent graduates who are interested in law and have demonstrated commitment to international issues. ELSA operates primarily through its local groups, which are located at nearly 200 universities throughout 41 countries in Europe. ELSA Maastricht is of course the local ELSA Group for Maastricht. ELSA Maastricht is a law students association for all law students at Maastricht University. Each year we organize interesting events that give law students the opportunity to experience their field of studies from a different perspective. This year, we will also host the regional round of the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law 2011-2012!

Since Maastricht is located right in the middle of the Euregio-region, ELSA Maastricht would like to invite you to the event “Law in the Euregio” on the 7th of February.

Meet 4 judges from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, who will tell you about their legal careers and their work in the Euregio. The event itself is moderated by Murk Muller the initiator of the “Anwaltsladen” (www.anwaltsladen.de ) and you will have the opportunity to ask questions to all participants.
If you want to find out more about “Law in the Euregio” beforehand, visit the “FORUM AD MOSAM” (www.forumadmosam.eu ), which is an association of judges and prosecutors in the Euregio-region.

We hope to see you all on the 7th of February!
